Girl techies!
As I blogged before (Education or how it all started and Terug naar school?!) I find it important to integrate the wonderful world of technology into school lessons for kids of all ages. And apparently I’m not alone as mentioned in those earlier posts.
Because more girls should get interested into technology I find this person very inspiring! Debbie Sterling is an engineer and founder of GoldieBlox, a toy company out to inspire the next generation of female engineers. She has made it her mission in life to tackle the gender gap in science, technology, engineering and math. Thanks to a Kickstarter project she found the necessary funding to launch her first girl engineering toy which became and immediate bestseller.
