About me

Hello, I'm Frank Delporte, a senior (damn, that sounds old...) development engineer with more then 20 years of experience in video, multimedia, technical project management, digital signage and (web) programming. Since 2010 I work for Televic Rail in Izegem, Belgium.

My everyday work tools are ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, Flex, CSS, HTML5, Java, Eclipse, QT,...

I love to KISS (Keep It Stupid, Simple) and try to do this in everything I do.

I'm also lead coach of the CoderDojo Belgium club in Ieper where we teach children (7-18) programming with Scratch, Arduino, App Inventor, Blender, ...

I'm married to Conny and we have a wonderful son we adopted in 2011 in Almaty, Kazachstan.

This blog is my own private play garden. Nothing spectacular or earth shaking, just a little update from time to time when something catches my eye or I feel it's worth to spend some time on...
